  from "Digitymemorial.com" James Clare Wallace II Jim passed away peacefully December 27, 2017. He was born in Dallas, TX, March 27, 1925 to James and Frances Wallace. He was preceded in death by both parents, as well as a sister, Frances Miller. In 1947, Jim married the love of his life, Freida Johnson, and was married 67 years till she passed away in 2015. Jim retired from the Dallas Police Department after 29 years, and was proud to serve his community and neighbors. He is survived by his two children, Sheri Hamer and husband, Terry of Dallas, and his son, Jamie Wallace also of Dallas. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Lori Summers of Dallas, and Leigh Ann Torres and her husband, Christian of Austin. Jim was very proud of his five great grandchildren, Devon and Cheyenne Summers of Dallas, and Rachel, Claire, and Zoe Torres of Austin. Visitation will be 9am – 11am Wednesday, 1/3/2018 at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home followed by Funeral Services at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be 11am Thursday, 1/4/2017 in the Miller Grove Cemetery, Cumby, TX.
